Hello to all! It's great to hear from you. I'm so glad the planning for our 20th is underway! Thanks Julie! If you are reading this and haven't signed in the guest book... please do!

This weekend was a BLAST!!! Thank you to all of you who stayed and watched me embarrass myself Saturday night. You all decided to stay and have fun and that's what makes a party great. That was the best dance I've played is 2 or 3 years. I've been sacrificing my dignity in the name of entertainment for a long time now and it's nice to know it's appreciated. Thanks also for allowing "my boys" to stay and party with us. They all said they hope their reunions are as fun as ours.

comment by Brian Donovan

Wow! Where do I even begin? This reunion couldn't have been any better if you tried, except maybe we should have partied the whole week. Does anyone else feel like there just wasn't enough time to talk to everyone? For those of you fortunate or unfortunate to be at Zorbaz on Thursday, you got to see that crazy side of me. Its amazing what 8-10 beers will do for your confidence. Thanks to Andy Anderson for the great conversations, and the dance lessons. To Gordy, thanks for the backup on Wanted Dead or Alive, and to Nena and Todd for your kind words for my singing; I hear there is footage that I need to see. Thanks to Gordy and Linda, for a safe ride, a place to crash and breakfast afterwards. As for the rest of the party, did saturday night rock or what. I was honored to win the "golden knob" award. It will have a treasured spot on my wall of shame. I'll be bringing it to the next one. Thanks again to Andy Anderson for the dances and great conversation; thanks to Jamie Ulseth, for being so much fun, and for the dances; thanks to Cathy Geisen; it was fun to hear what's up in your life; to Lisa Mangseth, it was great to get to talk to you; to Chris Pollard, I see drinks and socializing, possibly at Chino's; to Gordy for all of the great dance music; my voice is still hoarse and my body is still sore. And finally thanks to our wonderful reunion committee, for such an great time. You kicked ass! And to our class. We rule! Class of 87! Until we meet again, Brian "golden knob" Donovan

OMG!!! What a great weekend! I never anticipated having such a great time. The Thursday night gig at Zorbaz was a great way to step into the weekend and get the ball rolling--I haven't danced that much since the 90's! Saturday night was the topper with more dancing and lots of laughs, talking to people I haven't talked to since grade school or ever. I have some fun pictures and will do my best to get them on the site soon--as the camera episode on Saturday night proves, I AM electronically challenged. I'm sorry Andie and I ditched the after party on Saturday night, but my hubby was glad to see me home as the baby was up and hungry--next reunion I won't have all the bfeeding breaks and can a have a few cocktails! Thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend happen and for all who came and made it FUN!!!

A quick update to all classmates- our final numbers go to our vendors in two weeks!! This is the number our vendors will use to provide dinner for, seating, wait staff, beverages, etc. The reunion committee will pay for both nights events the first week of August, all of our vendors need to be paid, and the check cleared before our reunion. PLEASE understand that if we have too many people just show up and pay at the door for either or both nights this is what is going to happen: We will not have enough food, seating, beverages, and issues with the wait staff. The place we are holding our events will be either to small or way to large. We have had so many people contact us and mention people they say plan to attend-we have had no contact from these people. As of now we are looking at higher numbers of turn out-however if we do not hear from you, they will not be added to our head count and we will have a disastrous weekend with our vendors- If you plan to attend and pay at the door-please send me an email so I can add you to our head count- Your reunion committee has put in hundreds of hours worth of work to provide fun for you-please do your part- I apologize for my bluntness, however I question if people really understand how much goes into providing something like this to the class and the success depends strictly on our classmates to do their part. Please be considerate…let us know if you are coming!! Our committee wished to thank all of those whom have RSVP’d and sent their money to Michelle-

I love your website, it is so totally cool to see my man Jack in your class pictures. I am so totally hoping that he will be there for my bachelorette party--and my wedding night, afterall, he is my man!! Jack come back to me!!! I am your scabbard, you are my sword. You are my hot little sparrow.

comment by Catherine Geisen-Kisch

Hello everyone! Not sure if anyone will be checking the site at this time, but I wanted to say how wonderful it was to see everyone this past weekend. There were simply too many people to talk to, but I took the sage advice of our leader Kent Rime in talking to many whom I unfortunately missed out on getting to know twenty years prior ... we all have such interesting stories to tell! The 'door knob' prize was so clever and I loved the duo by Jamie and Gordy. I will save my punk clown wig for the 25th, or 30th ... however, I do fear that I may be the first to declare having had a hip replacement surgery given the addictiveness of DJ Gordy's music selection. Thanks to Jamie and Jeff for having the courage to sneak into the hot tub with me; for Chris Pollard for being my wonderful chauffer and dress consultant; to the Epple and Hare clan for letting me tag along for a greasy 2 a.m. breakfaat at Ctry Kitchen; to Linda for the after party; and to Jen, Michelle K and Michelle G for helping me recall memories from our scooping days at Bridgeman's and our time with FHA as well as all of the genuine hugs and comments from friends ... so many positive memories had been lost overtime for me and it was really healing to be back and have such a welcoming and fun experience. I think the written comment by Cordell sums it up .. we ALL have grown "or improved". So many commented on this feeling of comaraderie. Lastly of course is a huge thank you to Michelle, Julie, Linda, Chrissy and all others who created a memorable 20th reunion. I hope to make the next gathering, but in the interim, come visit my husband and I in sunny Cartagena. Por favor guardar contact con migo (geisenkischs@yahoo.com)!!! Hasta pronto!

OK - thanks to all of you who filled out the questions. I am having nightmares thinking I am going to get a ton in at the last moment. Fill them out! Make them funny. I have a very special surprise for the funniest one. Those that don't fill them out - I just may have a special surprise for you too. Ha! Especially you people not coming - we want to hear from you too.

What a wonderful job on the website. It is fun to catch up with everyone and the photos help, as I have lost a few brain cells in the last twenty years, age and 3 children will do that!! Looking forward to August. Thanks so much!

Wow! What a fabulous job on this site. I was unable to make the 10 year reunion, but there is going to be nothing stopping me from going to my 20th.

comment by Kent Rime

Julie, thank you for getting this going so early. I will pass the word along to Doug Seipp and Tom Rossman (both of whom are also in the Seattle-area). 20 years. Wow, it feels like...20 years!

Thanks for putting together this site. Its an excellent idea. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

comment by Sue Carlson

Thank you to everyone involved in making the reunion happen. I'm bummed that I cannot attend, but it has been great fun catching up on everyone via the site. I'll end up missing my husband's 20 year this year too. So, I think I'll just skip over the fact that it really has been 20 years. Until we meet again.

comment by Amy (Case) Fischer

I received the email too & thought oooooh boy the natives are going to get restless!!!! Tony just proves my point! :)

comment by Julie Jurgens-Shimek

I see the way to get your attention is to mention the amount of beer available depending on our RSVP numbers. Never the less, whatever problems should arise I realize that when it all boils down to it, it really is Mike Hare's fault. Send in your RSVP's and email Gordy with the tunes you want to hear for Saturday night- Let's do some chatter about Saturday AM...are we wanting to meet at Nesbitt Island and drop a keg? Or am I going over board? I really rarely drink beer, however would be willing to throw some $ at a keg to help the cause. How many people are planning to gather on Sat on the lake? I have had many emails, and much chatter however it would be great to have some better ideas as to numbers. I have been told that we can gather on the island, large gatherings are frowned upon if they get out of hand. So for every frown you see flash them a smile to balence it out and keep your hands in line :)

comment by Michelle Grubb Albrecht

Julie, I knew that mentioning the liquor might run low would catch some people's attention!!! :) Obviously SOME things haven't changed! Thanks to everyone who has gotten their money in. It has been fun to get notes from some of you (and I mean that for everyone who has enclosed a note). To those of you who haven't gotten your money in...What are you waiting for?? You know it's going to be fun! All you GR dwellers don't think you can get by w/out sending your $$. We need headcounts as Julie said. You guys have no excuse for not coming, so get your buts in gear!! :)

comment by Tony Epple

I just got an email from Julie that all of you recieved. If we run out of beer because some of you failed to RSVP I'm going to be one unhappy camper. I would have to take out my fustration on Mike Hare.

comment by Mark Erson

I am looking forward to seeing everyone again and hearing their stories! I am glad that this has been started early.
